Daily Time with the Teacher

I want to take a quick moment from our Eschatology series and encourage you to read a Proverbs a day. God wants us to be in His Word as a way to help us understand and support our decision making process throughout life.

Proverbs 4:1-4 “Hear, O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, 2 For I give you sound teaching; Do not abandon my instruction. 3 When I was a son to my father, Tender and the only son in the sight of my mother, 4 Then he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; Keep my commandments and live;”

Reading the Bible is more than just for Eschatology, but for also the personal moments right now.

Proverbs 5:1-2 “My son, give attention to my wisdom, Incline your ear to my understanding; 2 That you may observe discretion And your lips may reserve knowledge.”

God is eager for us to be students, are you eager for Him to be a teacher in your own life? Take a moment, each and everyday and read the chapter related to Proverbs and see how quickly God interacts in your life. He will talk to you, I have seen it in my own life and I know He will do it in your life. So no matter what you are going through in your life, remember that the Bible is applicable right now.

Proverbs 6:23 “For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching is light; And reproofs for discipline are the way of life.”

Hold until relieved, our Blessed Hope is coming,

JL
