New Year, Same God

Happy New Year from Mill House Ministries!

  Undoubtedly many people are starting their New Year’s resolutions. New years are always a great reminder of the old transitioning to the new. Change can be great, however there are something’s that shouldn’t change, and we can be thankful that they do not. God does not change, Malachi 3:6 “For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.” This is incredible news because man is not capable of staying true to what God has called us to, thus we need a savior who is willing to be with us in our ups and downs, in our days of failure and moments of triumphs. We need a God who does not change because this means His promises are assured. Romans 8:38-39 “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This is why Israel and the Jewish people are still the chosen people of God, this is why the Church is made up of people from all nations and tribes to be Kings and Priests to God, and this is why the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. So as you review 2023 and plan for 2024, take a moment and thank God that He does not change, and that He is the God of all people through the ages no matter if its 2023, 2024, or any other year.

  So this is one unchanging reason to celebrate during this new year!
